Conffee is a conceptual motion design piece born from a collaboration with María Alejandra Espejo. The project explores the harmony between nature and industrial aesthetics, brought to life through a satisfying animation. The goal was to create a surreal world where the product's materials bamboo, concrete, and PLA come together in a rhythmic, almost meditative way. It was also a chance to integrate AI into the workflow, not as the lead, but as a complementary tool to unlock creative possibilities.

The biggest challenge was merging multiple natural materials that typically don’t belong together into a single, unified design language. Adding to that, AI was used in early stages for experimentation, but it quickly became clear that it couldn’t fully deliver on the creative vision. This meant constantly switching between automation and manual craftsmanship to maintain consistency. Every texture, sound, and movement needed to feel intentional and part of one visual system.

The final piece is a smooth, cohesive animation that blends natural materials with industrial design logic. It feels tactile, immersive, and clean, while still holding that surreal “is this real?” quality. Conffee became more than just a render, it became a reflection of process, adaptation, and the power of intentional design backed by selective technology.
